Poldhu

  • Toilets

  • There are public toilets at the beach which are open from April to October. However, due to extensive refurbishment required we are not entirely sure how long this may continue.

  • Food

  • Poldhu beach cafe is open from 9.30am-4.30pm every day (except Christmas Day and Flora Day) They serve hot and cold drinks and food. On Friday evenings, during the summer, they are open for Pizza until 7.30pm and licensed to serve beer/cider and wine.

  • Parking

  • There is a council car park opposite the beach which is 'pay and display' from April-October. As our sessions run after 5pm, there is no charge for parking.

  • Access

  • Access to the beach is good and there is a boardwalk for wheelchairs. The beach is fairly level but there are some rocks. The club meet on the North side of the stream by the grass verge but there is no shelter or clubhouse.

  • Ensure you bring warm/ dry clothing.
